Wonderful visitors center, very informative, friendly staff and rangers, kids activities on select days and times, beautiful setting overlooking the salt marshes. Great spot to take a break and take pictures. Thumbs up

Near the end of Cape Cod by Providencetown the National Seashore Visitors Center is a must. The protected landscape in this area is fantastic. Besides the exhibits and great Rangers the view is super. Short drive to beach access. View of another lighthouse. Can get off road pass to drive on beach to lighthouse. Also saw RV's on the beach too. Bicycle trails are a huge thing throughout the park to all the sites to be seen and in between riding through pristine landscape. Handicap access to the beach over dunes by a huge blue mat which is secured to the ground and extends from parking lot past the dune line onto the beach. At the end of the mat you are about half way to the water and sand does get a bit soft. Bathrooms and showers at beach area.

Well maintained hiking trails. The loop around Salt Pond is nice. Got close up pictures of a swan. Saw 4 turkeys at about 20 ft away. Saw 2 loons but they were a bit farther in the middle of the pond. The insects were not too bad in late July.

If you're on the Cape and plan on exploring the beaches and nature areas of the Cape Cod National Seashore, then stopping here is a must. The rangers on staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. Their insights, advice and the maps they provide are invaluable.

Informative and free. Great stop for a vacation. Kids and adults.
